Clyde Scoble

Clyde Scoble age 73 years, of McGill, Nevada passed away June 23, 2013 in Ely, Nevada. Clyde was born September 25, 1939 in McGill, NV to Thomas H. and Della R. Scoble.

Clyde enlisted in the Navy in1957, he later retired from the Navy. In 1993 he and his wife, Chieko moved to McGill from Oxnard, California. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clyde liked to ride ATV’s and enjoyed bowling.

Clyde is survived by his wife Chieko of McGill, NV; daughter Lisa Davis of McGill, NV; two granddaughters Heather Davis of Las Vegas, NV and Hayley Davis of Divide, CO; sister Irene Carson of McGill, NV; brother Harold Scoble of New Harmony, UT and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

At Clydes request there will be no services.

  1. I was sad to hear of Clyde’s passing. I knew him in the early 90’s when I was stationed at Pt Mugu Ca. Clyde was a friend and my instructor training me as an air traffic controller. We shared many good times at work and at his home. He will be thought of often.

    Clyde was my section leader at NAS Atsugi tower in 1970 and 1971. He was a great guy and an outstanding petty officer. We shared some great times. I was able to visit Clyde and Chieko once at Point Mugu after I got out of the Navy. I have many fond memories.
