Report of an arrest in Ely — Officer reported that Cristina S. Lerch age 32 of Ely was arrested for tail light violation and DUI, first offense.

Report of a dog problem — Officer received a report of a barking dog. Officer reported that the owner of the dog was not at home. Contact with the owner will be made at a later date.

Report of a dog problem — Reporting party located a stray dog. The owner of the dog was located and advised to pick up his dog.

Report of a possible burglary in Ely — Reporting party stated that someone had entered into her place of employment and discharged a fire extinguisher. The incident was documented.

Report of a domestic disturbance in Ely — Officer contacted the parties involved who had engaged in a verbal argument. The parties separated for the day.

Report of property damage — Reporting party stated that someone had damaged several windows at the Lund School. Investigation continues.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported that Levi K. Kerbs age 32 of Ely was arrested for DUI, first offense and failure to maintain lane of travel.

Report of an alarm in Ely — False alarm.

Report of harassment in Ely — Reporting party stated that she is receiving unwanted text messages from an individual over the removal of some property. The sender of the messages was contacted and advised to stop her contact with the reporting party.

Report of a juvenile problem in Ely — Officer received a report of several juveniles yelling at cars as they drove by. The juveniles and their parent were contacted and advised of the problem.

Report of a theft in Ely — Reporting party stated that while a friend of hers was staying at her residence she stole several items of jewelry. Officer contacted the friend who stated that she had the items, but was returning them. She claimed the items were borrowed not stolen.

Report of a welfare check in Ely — The individual was contacted and was fine.

Report of an unattended child — Officer reported that a child had been dropped off by a family member believing the parents of the child were home. The parents were not at home and the child was left alone. The family member returned and picked up the child.

Report of a domestic battery — Officer received a report of a domestic battery that had taken place. During the officers investigation Alan Lefferty age 36 of McGill was arrested. Lefferty was arrested for domestic battery with strangulation. He is accused of battering his wife and also strangling her.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported while conducting a investigation Sara R. Martin age 39 of McGill was arrested. Martin was arrested for obstructing a police officer. She is accused of interfering with the officer’s investigation.

Report of a suspicious vehicle in Ely — The vehicle was located and no crime had occurred.

Report of an over due helicopter — The helicopter was located at the airport.

Report of a dog problem — Officer located the barking dog and a citation will be issued to the owner when located.

Report of a theft in Ely — Reporting party stated that his sister was stealing money from his father. Officer advised the reporting party that the father needed to file the report.

Report of a public nuisance — Officer contacted the responsible party and advised him to clean up the garbage.

Davis had taken her daughter from the father who had sole custody of the child. Davis was arrested on a probation violation, removal of a child without proper authority and use of a controlled substance.

Report of a suspicious vehicle — Reporting party stated that he observed a vehicle parked near to his residence. When he approached the vehicle it left the area. The incident was documented.
