He left behind his cancer ravaged body and this world to spend eternity with those he so loved, that had gone before him. As a child in Ely, Johnny loved playing at “Big Ditch”, “Green Town” and the Scout Cabin. Throughout his years he played in every sport in school from Little League, Pop Warner, swimming, High School Football, baseball and track. At one time he was dubbed, “Fastest Man in White Pine County”. John loved the outdoors of Nevada, fishing, hunting, gathering wood or picking pine nuts.

Johnny spent 4 years in the Navy throughout the “South Pacific” on nuke ships and subs, learned HVAC-R and worked the trade for most of his life. In between times he worked the mines as a Haul Truck Driver.
