It has been quite a week.

After Friday night I thought I would never get warm again, but when I got home my wonderful son had a nice hot meal fixed and a fire going.

I do hope you all have someone as kind as I do. I am truly blessed.

The residents of Cherry Creek would like to give Seasons Greetings and a very warm thank you for the Thanksgiving boxes and goodies our needy families received. Special thanks to the Sheriff’s Dept., the Ministerial Association, the NDOW, the First Baptist Church, the Senior Center, RSVP and all the volunteers who make it possible. Thank you.

We had our first Nevada Food Bank distribution on Friday. I feel it went well, there may be some kinks to work out, but it was a good start.

If you have any comments, please call me 789-6323.

Bowling was great, but my team can not get to first place. Second is not bad. Barbara and Allen are still battling. Barbara has a good chance to bet Allen.

Bingo winners are Debbie Wytior winning the big pot and Vivian Joy winning 5 games. Bingo is every Wednesday after lunch, come join in the fun.

The Senior Center had the drawing on Saturday. The winner of the quilt was Candice Campeau. I know her.
Nancy Kobasziar was the winner of the Senior News drawing. I want to thank Bert at the Prospector for the $30 gift.

Remember on the 17th Drew Bandford will be speaking at the Senior Center. This should be a very interesting talk.
On the 13th, the Annual Chamber Christmas Dinner & Mixer. Time is 5:30 to 9:30, hope to see you there.
