Robinson Nevada Mining Co. Process Manager Tom Bender presents a donation to Susan Keough, Chair of The Committee Against Child Hunger (CACH). Each week CACH place bags of food in the backpacks of students from McGill, David E. Norman, Steptoe High School, Head Start and Learning Bridge schools – approximately 600 each month – to be used during the weekend. Bags are filled once a month, with the help of Steptoe High School students – with nutritional entrees, juices, granola bars, crackers and oatmeal. CACH is operated by volunteers and supported by donations and fundraisers.
