The White Pine High School baseball team travelled to West Wendover on May 7 to finish their final home game of the season that was originally suspended due to weather conditions after one and a half innings. Though the Wolverines were leading 14-5 when play was suspended, the teams had to start the game over at the beginning of the second inning. The Bobcats rallied back from being down 8-2  after the first inning but were unable to close the gap, losing the game 11-9.

The young Bobcats team finished the season with a 4-17 record, going 2-12 in league play.
