More business is out there for local stores if they team up with the government according to Rural Procurement Specialst Maggie Neidigh from the governor’s office. In a presentation that she gave to community members and local business owners on Tuesday at the library, Neidigh went over different ways that rural businesses can work with local, state and federal governments to grow their businesses, including ways to pally for government contracts.
Neidigh said that she can also set up one-on-one counseling for business owners to help parse the usually complex government verbage when applying.
