Another great week in White Pine County. The parade was spectacular as usual and the fireworks were a must to see. Many people went camping and family picnics were on the agenda.
I took a trip to Lehman caves. We had lots of fun and it was a good way to get out of the heat. Then along ride on an ATV to Garnet Mountain was enjoyable. Of course a trip to the rifle range was a must. I actually hit the target the first time. The next thing on the agenda was the trip to Wendover for lunch, who would’ve thought that would be so enjoyable.
Amongst all the fun, family and friends I do hope nobody forgot what we were celebrating.

The “No Hug” Rule
For look how far you’ve traveled
From that little boys so brave
Heading off to kindergarten
Your hands up in the wave
And through the years you’ve made mistakes
But son I’ve made them, too
Being perfect is not an option in life
Simply do the best you can do
and don’t expect more than that
for life is supposed to be fun
you’ve only got one to live
do what is best for you my son
