Jerry Lee Thomas (Sr.) passed away on April 17, 2015 at his home in Price, Utah. Jerry was born August 31, 1942 in Ely, Nevada to Hy Thomas and Meda Jones Thomas. Jerry grew up in Ely where he attended the local schools. He also lived many years in Reno, Elko, and Pocatello, Idaho before moving to Price. In his lifetime he worked in mining, locksmithing and most recently carpentry and farming. He could fix anything and make anything. He loved being outdoors and in the mountains where he enjoyed hunting, shooting, gold panning, knife making and carving.
He survived by his children, Cindi (Darren) Brinkerhoff, Sherry (Darrell) Ruesch and Jerry (LesLee) Thomas, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren all of St. George, Utah. He is also survived by his sister Dee (Albert) Etcheverry of Reno, Nevada. He also leaves behind his dear friend Carol Armstrong of Price, Utah and many friends there.
Graveside services will be held in July in his home town of Ely, Nevada.
