Museum making plans to increase visitors

After attending a successful weekend of Strategic Planning, the Board of Directors of the White Pine Public Museum are making plans to increase visitors to the museum by updating the exhibits and revamping the gift shop.

Laura Rainey, of Smoke Signals, has volunteered her expertise to make the gift shop the “go to place” in Ely, to find that perfect gift.

Stop by and visit Laura for some bits of local history and Native American “hands-on” facts.  She will be available to answer your questions as you view her beautiful jewelry starting Memorial Day weekend.

The regular hours of operation for the museum are: Tuesday through Saturday 12:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and most holidays.  The museum is located at 2000 Aultman Street in Ely, Nevada, next to the Pizza Factory.
