Report of a problem with a subject  — Reporting party stated that a family member was staying with her and she believes that he is stealing her medication. The reporting party wanted the family member trespassed from her home. The individual was contacted who denied stealing the medication. He was trespassed from the residence.

Report of a problem with a subject  — Reporting party stated that an individual had made threats to harm his livestock. Officer attempted to contact the individual, but was unsuccessful.

Report of a fraud — Reporting party stated that someone had gained access to his banking account and had made several unauthorized purchases. The incident was documented.

Report of an arrest — Officer reported that Rita M. Wooldridge, 36, of Ely, was arrested on an Ely Municipal Court warrant.

Report of a problem with a subject  — Reporting party stated that he befriended an individual on Facebook and that they started video chatting. He stated that they both exposed themselves during the video chat. Now the individual is threatening to post the video online unless he sends the individual a large amount of money. The reporting party was advised to stop his contact with the individual. The incident was documented.

Report of a fraud —  Reporting party stated that she had rented a room to an individual and when he paid with his credit card, the credit card was declined. Investigation continues.

Report of a man with a gun — Officer received a report of an individual wearing a gun in a local business. Officer contacted the individual and reported that no crime had occurred.

Report of found drug paraphernalia —  Reporting party located a pipe used to inhale a controlled substance near his home. The item was collected and destroyed.

Report of a dog problem — The dog was found to be running at large and was impounded.

Report of an accident — Richard Howe, of Ely, allowed his vehicle to leave the roadway and he struck a pole. A report was completed.

Report of a civil issue — The reporting party claimed another person accused her of slandering him and his business. A report was completed.

Report of property damage — The reporting party claimed his windshield was chipped by a rock.

Report of drug problem — The reporting party reported suspicious activity that appeared to by drug related. The information was passed on to NDI.

Report of a motorcycle problem —The reporting party claimed to have almost struck a dirt bike. The area was checked, but the dirt bike wasn’t located.

Report of a civil issue — The reporting party claimed a friend stole her vehicle. It was later discovered she allows this friend to use her vehicle at his leisure. The truck was later located and the owner took possession of it.

Report of a suspicious subject — Officer received a report of several individuals loitering around a local store. The area was patrolled, but the individual were not located.

Report of shots fired — Reporting party stated that she heard what she believed to be gun shots near her home. The area was patrolled, but no problems were located.

Report of a problem with a subject — Reporting party stated that his neighbors water their lawn and the water keeps hitting his door causing water damage. Officer is attempting to locate the neighbor.

Report of a suspicious subject — Reporting party stated that an individual was walking around his apartment complex stating that he was from the Social Security Office. The area was patrolled, but no one was located.

Report of a possible drunk driver — Officer observed the vehicle and reported that no problems were located.

Report of a juvenile problem — Officer received a report of a juvenile who parks his vehicle in an area where busses unload. Officer contacted the juvenile and advised him of the problem.

Report of an accident — Reporting party stated that someone had struck his work truck with another vehicle and the striking vehicle had fled the scene. A report was completed.

Report of a theft — Reporting party stated that someone had stolen some fishing equipment and a hitch off his vehicle. The incident was documented.

Report of a civil problem —Reporting party stated that several vehicles had been towed off private property. Officer contacted the parties involved, who are engaged in a legal issue over ownership of the property. No action was taken.

Report of a problem with a subject — Officer received a report of an individual causing a disturbance at a local business. The individual was contacted and advised to leave the business. He complied.

Report of a suspicious subject — Reporting party stated that an individual came by her home making comments to her about her dogs. The area was patrolled, but the person was not located.

Report of a theft — Reporting party stated that an individual had come into his place of business, grabbed an item from the store and fled. Officer reported that the individual was located and identified as Christopher Pullen, 43, of Ely. Pullen was arrested for burglary, petty larceny, obstructing a police officer, possession of stolen credit cards, and unauthorized use of a credit card, possession of stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Report of suspicious circumstances — Reporting party stated that someone had put mud on her mailbox. The incident was documented.

Report of a fight — Officer received a report of a fight that had taken place. The individuals involved were contacted and a report will be sent to Juvenile Probation.

Report of suspicious circumstances — Reporting party stated that an individual was trying to open a car door with a coat hanger. The individual was contacted and had locked his keys in the car.

Report of an accident — The report was given to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Report of lost and found — Reporting party stated that a guest at a local motel had left their iPad. The iPad was placed into lost and found.

Report of property damage — Reporting party stated that a vehicle had struck a light pole, causing damage to the pole. The striking vehicle had fled the area. A report was completed.

Report of a dog problem — Officer received a report of a dog being left inside a vehicle. The owner of the dog was contacted who took the dog home.

Report of a dog bite — Reporting party stated that his child had been bitten by a dog. The child received medical attention at E.R. and the owner of the dog was contacted.

Report of a fraud — Reporting party stated that he received a phone call from an individual claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. The caller advised the reporting party that he had won some money but needed to send money to him so he could claim his prize. The reporting party was advised it was a scam and to discontinue any contact with the caller.

Report of lost and found — Officer reported that a set of keys were turned into lost and found.

Report of an open door — Officer received a report of an open door on a vacant home. The home was checked and the residence was secured.
