MUNICIPAL COURT

January 2, 2018 – Tiana Marie Wilson: Guilty of Possession of Drug Parapheranlia. Sentenced to five days in custody of the White Pine County Jail to run consecutive to case 2015-OC-630 and 2016-OC-095. Defendant is guilty of contempt to violation of N.R.S. 199.340, but the Court orders no additional penalty for her failure to appear at arraignment in this matter.

January 3, 2018 – Steven Ray Groben, II: Guilty of Driving Under the Influence (1st Offense). Sentenced to pay $60.00 Forensic Fee; $100.00 DUI Assessment Fee; 6 months in custody of Nevada Department of Corrections. Custody to run concurrent with credit for time served with his current custodial status.

January 3, 2018 – Richard Carl Chrisman: Guilty of Driving Under the Influence (1st Offense) (Count 2). Ordered to pay $400.00 Fine; $180 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Court Facility Fee; $7.00 Special Court Program Fee; $60.00 Forensic Fee; $100.00 DUI Assessment Fee. Also $170 for two hours of the cost of the Public Defender.(Count 1) Driving on Right Side. Defendant ordered to attend DUI Educational Course, attend Victim’s Impact Panel, Serve two days in the custody of White Pine County Jail with credit for one day served, convert the remaining day to three days of house arrest.

January 3, 2018 – Tiana Marie Wilson: Bench Warrant. Defendant ordered to serve five days contempt time for violation, and to serve an additional 10 days in custody in lieu of $710.00 owed on fines and fees consecutive to the five days contempt time.

January 4, 2018 – Brittany Sarah Slight: Guilty of Illegal Parking. Sentenced to pay $200.00 Fine; $88.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Court Facility Fee; and $7.00 Special Court Program Fee.

January 4, 2018 – Charles White: Ordered to convert $55.00 owed on fines and fees to seven hours of community service.

January 11, 2018 – Jane Murdock: Guilty Count 2 Driving Under the Influence (1st Offense). Sentenced to pay $400.00 Fine; $108.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Court Facility Fee; $7.00 Special Court Program Fee; $60.00 Forensic Fee and $100.00 DUI Administrative Fee. Defendant ordered to attend DUI Education Course, Victim’s Impact Panel, two days in the custody of White Pine County jail with credit for two days time served, to pay Public Defender fees, not to exceed three hours. Defendant is sentenced to complete a Mental Health evaluation.

January 9, 2018 – Charles Arthur Vaughn: Arraignment, Count 1 of Use of Cellphone While Driving. City moved to dismiss charge as the Defendant was in a vehicle prescribed by law as being exempt from this provision of law.

January 11, 2018 – Cierra Lafferty: Bench Warrant Hearing. Defendant shall complete three days in custody for the $210.00 owed for fines and fees.

January 17, 2018 – Dylan Jacov Vergith: Guilty Count 1 Embezzlement. Sentenced to pay $300.00 Fine with $98.00 Administrative Assessment fee; $10.00 facility fee; $7.00 special court fee. Defendant is  jointly and severely liable for restitution in the amount of $110.83  to Ridley’s Market.

January 17, 2018 – Harold Blaine Holmes: Guilty Count 1 Driving with No Valid Driver’s License. Sentenced to pay $250.00 Fine; $88.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Facility Fee; $7.00 Special Court Fee.

January 9, 2018 – Angelina Richardson: Guilty of Disturbing the Peace. Sentenced to pay $125.00 Fine, $78.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Facility Fee; $7.00 Special Court Fee.

January 9, 2018 – Theodore Jackson:  Guilty of Driving Without Valid Driver’s License. Sentenced to pay $150.00 Fine, $78.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Facility Fee, $7.00 Special Court Fee.

January 10, 2018 – James Matthew Bliss: Guilty of Driving Suspended. Sentenced to $250.00 fine with $88.00 Administrative Assessment Fee; $10.00 Facility Fee; $7.00 Special Court Fee.

January 8, 2018

State of Nevada vs. Derek Rodney Goff

Judge Gary D. Fairman presiding.

Defendant in custody of the White Pine County Jail, represented by Jane Eberhardy; James Beecher representing the State of Nevada; Matt Hibbs from Parole and Probation.

Defendant is guilty of the Offense of Coercion, a Category B Felony.

Ms. Eberhard ask for the minimum of 12-32 months NDOC. Leia Wells asks for 28-72 months NDOC. Court sentences $25 AA fee; $3 GMA fee; 24-60 months NDOC, 223 days credit for time served. Defendant is remanded into custody.

January 22, 2018  

State of Nevada vs. Sonja Nichole Henderson

Represented by Richard Sears; Special Prosecutor, Melissa Brown, representing the State of Nevada; Matt Hibbs and Melanie Boyntan from Parole and Probation.

Defendant is guilty of the offense of Battery on a Provider of Health Care resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm. Recommended 32-84 months and $198 in restitution. Court rejects the application for probation, $25 AA fee, $3 GMA fee, $150 DNA fee; 24-60 months NDOC; a restitution amount of $198; 95 days credit for time served. Defendant is remanded into custody.

January 22, 2018 State of Nevada vs. Russell Lee Bainbridge

Defendant in custody of the White Pine County jail, represented by Richard Sears; McKinzie Peterson representing the State of Nevada’ Matt Hibbs & Melanie Boynton from Parole and Probation.

Defendant is guilty of Attempted Uttering of a Forged Instrument, a Category E Felony and for Attempted Uttering of a Forged Instrument, a Gross Misdemeanor.

Asked to treat this case as a Category E felony and to deny probably; 1-4 years NDOC; $1,000 fine and $70 for restitution.

Court enters judgment as a Category E Felon; $25 AA fee, $150 DNA fee; $3 GMA fee; 12-48 months NDOC; restitution of $70; 104 days credit for time served.

Defendant is remanded into custody.

January 22, 2018

State of Nevada vs. Edward Clell Roberts

Defendant in custody of the White Pine County jail, represented by Jane Eberhardy; Michael Wheable representing the State of Nevada; Matt Hibbs and Melanie Boynton from Parole and Probation.

Court finds the defendant violated probation. Asked for a Drug Court Program in Idaho and to have monthly status checks. Also to impose a 12-36 months NDOC and revoke the defendant’s probation.

Court revokes diversion and probation; $25 AA fee, $3 GMA fee, 12-36 months NDOC with credit for time served of 135 days. Defendant is remanded into custody.

January 22, 2018

State of Nevada vs. Sophia Elizabeth Davis

Defendant represented by Jane Eberhardy; Michael Wheable representing the State of Nevada; Matt Hibbs & Melanie Boynton from Parole and Probation.

Court notes speaking with Amy Adams on her recommendation of Drug Court. Ms. Eberhardy ask for Drug Court and an Ely Mental Health evaluation. Mr. Wheable recommends Drug Court but with an inpatient treatment facility; Ms. Eberhardy would like an evaluation done by Ely Mental Health before considering an inpatient treatment facility.

Court places the defendant on probation not to exceed 3 years; enter and successfully complete the 7th Judicial District Drug Court; to get an updated mental health evaluation; sign waivers; must attend Drug Court.

After this hearing conducted, court orders, $25 AA fee, $3 GMA fee, and $60 chemical analysis fee.

January 29, 2018

State of Nevada vs. Tyler Dwayne Holland

Judge Steve L. Dobresu presiding

Defendant in custody of the White Pine County jail, represented by Jane Eberhardy; James Beecher representing the State of Nevada; Matt Hibbs from Parole and Probation.

Court finds that the defendant violated probation. Ms. Eberhardy asks for a dishonorable discharge or serve remaining time in White Pine County.

Court revokes probation and imposes a dishonorable discharge. Serve 244 days with credit for time served of 240 days. Defendant is remanded into custody.
