There will be Traffic Incident Management courses offered throughout Northeastern Nevada.
Classes will be in Lovelock, Winnemucca, Elko, Wells, and Ely.
Courses are 4 hours long and are scheduled in the morning and the afternoon (except for Wells 1pm-5pm and 6pm to 10pm, and Ely March 29th 12:30-4:30 & March 30th 8am-12pm ).
In some areas, we have not offered this training for several years. This is an excellent course for all emergency responders (law enforcement, fire, ambulance, air ambulance, Forest Service, BLM, Tribal, public works (city and county), NDOT, tow companies, dispatchers, mine safety and rescue, hospitals, and any entities that may be involved in public safety. It is a nationally recognized course that all responders should take!!
If you have not taken this course, or want a refresher, it is highly encouraged that all responders attend. We also want media to be involved in our Traffic Incident Management Program. You work with us every day and need to know our roles at an incident, where to park your vehicles at the scene, who to talk to, etc.
An email went out to ALL northeastern Nevada responders so classes may fill up quickly. Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested in this training.
This is a P.O.S.T. certified class.
