Hot Cars!

What starts your engine? Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge or ToyotaŠWhich one do you want to be seen driving? I went around asking students and staff at White Pine High school which vehicle they like and, more to the point, why they like them. The results are in! Chevy sped far into the lead, as the most preferred of the four. Ford came in for second with Dodge and Toyota sputtering in the rear.

When asked why they preferred Chevy here were their responses. “They are hot and dependable, I had a Ford and it broke down, F-o-r-d stands for found on road side dead”. Those that stand by Ford believe that “ Henry Ford put America on the road”. In my opinion, Henry Ford put America on the road only about half the time. The rest of the time is spent in a mechanic's garage! A variety of vehicles are seen being driven around campus and town, it's a matter of personal opinion and choice. But, as of right now, the numbers are in and Chevy is the winner! Speaking of hot cars!

The weekend of the September 15-17 there were many hot cars here for the race from Ely to Ash Springs. There were many different types of vehicles in the race, ranging from Chevys, Fords, Subaru's, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and many many others. With so many different vehicles around which one should you choose? Well I guess that's up to you. But remember that the Chevrolet was the winner for this survey.
